Student Volunteer Group
“Hambetsushiki: D”

This group’s origins lie in the Toyohashi Wakaba Assembly.
The Toyohashi Wakaba Assembly’s second term, Team D,
made policy proposals to revitalize the area around Toyohashi Station. The proposal called for creating rental space for product fairs, challenge stores, and pop-up stores in Toyohashi, even though department stores have closed.
To revitalize the city, we researched precedents and activist groups across the country,
In the process, we learned that many areas are suffering from an outflow of young people and declining populations.
Although Team D’s policy proposals were not directly adopted, we believed that students can also contribute to regional revitalization. We are still active today with a new lineup.

San-en Terraviva

Established by student members from Mikawa and Enshu, San-en Terravia serves as a sponsoring organization for Discriminant:D, a nonprofit organization supporting local people through its nonprofit activities. While the two organizations share some common contact information and members, they are separate organizations operating under separate terms and articles of incorporation.

Operated using the know-how cultivated through Discriminant:D, all profits from the organization are used to support Discriminant:D activities and other nonprofit and public interest organizations.

The name “Terra Via” combines “terra,” meaning land, and “viva,” meaning life, to symbolize vibrant activities rooted in the local community.
